Charter Hall’s end-of-trip facility at 201 Elizabeth Street sets a new benchmark for workplace wellness in the heart of Sydney. Designed as a calm, refined urban retreat, the space offers users a place to pause, reset, and recharge, with lighting playing a central role in shaping the experience.

With no access to natural light, the lighting design needed to do more than illuminate. Lightwaves worked closely with WMK and Buildcorp to deliver a scheme that quietly supports the interior architecture while enhancing texture, warmth, and usability.

Our approach focused on:

• Indirect and soft direct lighting for a glare-free environment

• Seamless integration into joinery and finishes

• Mirror lighting that supports function without harshness

• Custom lighting scenes controlled via a digital interface

The result is a premium, human-centred space that feels effortless and intentional, supporting the well-being of every user who passes through.
